Privacy Policy
Glide Fit · Last updated July 25, 2026
Glide Fit is a motion game: the camera is your controller. This policy explains
what happens to your data — starting with the part people care about most.
The camera never records you. Video from your
camera is processed live on your device by Apple's Vision framework to detect
body pose (head, shoulders, wrists). No video, photos, or pose data ever leave
your device. Nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted — when the session
ends, the frames are gone.
Face data
Some moves are aimed with your head, so alongside body pose the app also runs
Apple's on-device face detection (VNDetectFaceRectanglesRequest) on
the same frame. This is what it does, in full:
- What is detected. The position of the largest face in the
frame, and two angles describing which way your head is turned and tilted
(yaw and pitch).
- What is used. Only the yaw and pitch angles. They are
smoothed and turned into an aiming direction for the in-game laser. Nothing
else from the face detection is read.
- What is never collected. No facial landmarks, no facial
geometry or depth map, and no faceprint, template, or other identifier. The
app cannot recognise or identify a face, tell two people apart, or infer
age, gender, emotion, or identity.
- Storage and retention. None. The angles exist in memory
only for the single video frame being processed and are overwritten by the
next frame. Nothing is written to disk, and nothing survives the session.
- Sharing. None. Face data is never transmitted off your
device, never sent to our servers, and never shared with any third party. It
is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or training any model.
Face detection runs only while you are in a session with the camera active,
and stops the moment the session ends.
Your account
Glide Fit requires an account. You sign in with Sign in with
Apple or Google — we never create or handle a password.
From your chosen provider we receive:
- An email address. If you use Sign in with Apple and pick
"Hide My Email", we only ever see Apple's private relay address, never your
real one.
- A display name, when your provider supplies one.
- A user ID — an anonymous identifier that links your
progress to you.
We use these to identify your account and sync your progress. We do not email
you marketing, and we do not sell or share this data.
Cloud sync
So your progress survives a new phone or a reinstall, your game data is backed
up to Google Firestore under your user ID. That means: coins, streaks, days
played, distance flown, unlocked suits and worlds, and your game settings.
It does not include camera data of any kind.
What else we collect
- Gameplay analytics — events such as "game started",
"session completed", scores, and feature usage, linked to your user ID. We use
Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel to understand how the game is played and make
it better.
- Crash reports — via Firebase Crashlytics, so we can fix
bugs. These contain device model, OS version, and the technical state of the
app at the moment of a crash.
- Purchase status — processed by Apple and RevenueCat so
your PRO unlock works across your devices. We never see your payment details;
Apple handles all billing.
What we don't collect
- No camera footage or photos. Body pose and face angles are read live on
your device to steer the game and are never stored, transmitted, or shared —
see Face data above.
- No faceprints, face templates, or any data that could identify a person
from their face.
- No passwords — sign-in is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
- No contacts, location, microphone, or health data.
- No advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
Glide Fit shows no third-party ads.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time:
Settings → Delete Account. This permanently erases your cloud
progress document and your sign-in record. It cannot be undone, and we keep no
copy. Deleting the app alone removes only the local data on that device — use
Settings → Delete Account if you want the cloud copy gone too.
Third-party services
These processors handle data on our behalf, under their own privacy terms:
Firebase (Google),
Mixpanel,
RevenueCat, and
Apple.
Children
Glide Fit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can delete your account and all cloud data from Settings, as described
above. For any other privacy question or request, contact us — we'll handle it
promptly.
